RESPONSIBILITIES

The individual collaborates closely in maintaining and servicing the fleet of robots and industrial automation through support, technical service, and project management. Additionally, they lead projects and oversee the implementation of innovative technological solutions, all within the realm of smart factory logistics. More specifically, but not limited to:

  • Complete installation, development of manufacturing methods, programming, commissioning, validation of manufacturing processes compliance, maintenance, and upkeep of industrial robots and automation.
  • Support, troubleshooting, identification, and correction of program malfunctions and errors.
  • Jig design.
  • Creation and updating of interventions, error codes, and maintenance records.
  • Verification and validation of control before production.
  • Participation in various automation, autonomous robotics, and continuous improvement projects to master manufacturing processes and logistics flow.
  • Performing any other tasks related to the position.

REQUIREMENTS AND PROFILE

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, automation, or equivalent education.
  • Relevant experience in design, programming, and/or installation of programmable logic controllers.
  • Good knowledge of automation, robotics, electrotechnics, safety architectures, and programming, including Fanuc (welding robot).
  • Proficiency in CAD, CAM, CAE software, and other computer programs.
  • Knowledge of robotics, robotic welding, and industrial automation.
  • Bilingual (french-english) for operator manuals and technical support.
  • Teamwork aptitude, creative, innovative.
  • Meticulous, organized, and responsible.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Demonstrated interest in metal manufacturing.
